How will you dream of the Black Madonna? How would she look? What role will she serve in your life as an artist/designer? Create an icon of the Black Madonna to address contemporary issues such as social justice, the environment, Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion, or any other social issue. This Madonna is not a religious icon but a social construct, a message. Using the iconic Black Madonna as the messenger, use her signs and symbols to convey the social commentary you wish to bring forth.
