Analyze the two different podcast series and pick one episode of each to focus on 
• Compare and contrast the podcasts/episodes 
• Write a 1,200-word essay with a thesis statement that directly responds to the following
prompt questions: 
• How do these podcasts analyze sport and its place in larger society? How does their
analysis connect to ideas and themes we’ve covered in this course (which is gender in sports, why sports are important, reasons as to why we should study sports)
• Be specific in your analysis by referring to quotes from the podcasts and citing them
• Be sure to focus on the similarities and differences between the episodes—especially
when it comes to how they analyze or discuss sports
