After
completing the exploration phase, students will log between 20-40 hours
exploring one specific area of specialization in greater depth. Students
should conduct an informational interview with their client to better
understand their technical assistance needs and determine what mutually
beneficial consultation and deliverables you can provide for them. Activities
to be completed will be like those in Phase 1 but should be conducted in more
specific areas of expertise.
A.     Phase
Narrative
Your phase narrative should be no more than three pages in
length. Draft, edit, and proofread this narrative carefully. Format your narrative using the
numbered subheadings below:

Summary:
Clearly summarize what you learned from the hours spent in this phase (this
could include where your interest grew or shrank, how the specialization developed
or changed your interests, etc.) and what resources you found that were
valuable to your efforts.
2.     
Plans
for Consultation Phase: Describe in detail the work you will be doing in your
consultation phase. Specify the proposed deliverables (at least 2) for your
consultation work and the problem you will be working on.
