A vital skill in constructing an evidence-based review of literature is active reading. This process involves a comprehension of the material presented, a synthesis of the information into meaningful constructs, and an expression of new ideas through the lens of the writer. Annotations help guide these efforts by presenting a formalized process to organize relevant information. Expand your previous annotated bibliography to include a minimum of 30 resources. As before, make certain these are peer-reviewed resources and not “op-ed” pieces. You have now received feedback on your abbreviated annotate bibliography and, as such, these annotations will be graded with a more critical eye. Review and follow the guidelines below.
The annotation consists of three parts:
Provide a very brief summary of the article
Identify the article’s relationship to your research
Give a short critique of the article’s merits
Cite your article in APA format:
