A Research Paper concerning an issue involving the introduction of evidence in a criminal case will comprise 20% of your grade. The Due Date is posted in the Modules. This assignment is graded according to whether instructions are followed, all parts are included, content is accurate, the presentation (grammar, spelling, organization) is correct, references are appropriate and properly listed/cited in APA format, and the analysis is logical.
The Research Paper must be 5 pages, double spaced, and have a list of at least 3 References.  Neither Wikipedia nor your textbook are permitted as a Reference. The body of the paper must be 5 pages, which means that neither the Cover Page, Abstract, nor Reference pages are included as part of that 5 page requirement.  References and in-text citations are to be in APA format.  If you have questions concerning APA, please refer to the CANVAS Course Module.  Papers are to be submitted in the Canvas Course Module section. All papers submitted will be scored for plagiarism by TurnItIn and should not score more than 24%.  Anything higher than that is an indication that you have not cited your work sufficiently or you need to paraphrase more.
