Imagine you are writing an email to a friend who asked you about studying. Specifically, they asked you what you are reading in your classes. Choose a sentence or two from any part of Ghosh’s Chapters 1-4 (p. 1-62) that you thought was particularly striking. Explain what Ghosh meant in your own words, putting that striking passage into context of the chapters you have read so far. And convey why you thought this was so striking, interesting, or important. Remember to use quotation marks around any of Ghosh’s words that you quote and include a parenthetical citation that includes the page number where the quotation can be found.
