Write a 4-page essay analyzing the experiences of Japanese-Americans as a result of the US government’s actions. All papers must be typed, double-spaced, with one-inch margins, and either foot or end notes. This is not a book report; your paper should focus on how the government affected this minority group. Use The Kikuchi Diary by Charles Kikuchi as the primary source. You may use some additional sources, however, make sure to use the Kikuchi Diary as the primary source. Please also explore what life was like for the Japanese-Americans during their time in the internment camps as well as how their life changed after leaving the camps versus how they were before the war started. You may use secondary sources to cover how their life was affected after leaving the camp.
I have provided a sample essay, for reference on what the paper should look like. In addition to this I have provided an intro page to the essay titled “Essay Intro Page” please continue the essay from that page forward and write 4 pages. Lastly, I have attached a pdf copy of The Kikuchi Diary by Charles Kikuchi, which is to be used as the primary source. If you rather not download the file, you can use the following link to access the book for free: https://digitalassets.lib.berkeley.edu/jarda/ucb/text/cubanc6714_b306w01_0080_30.pdf
Also please do not submit this paper to any plagiarism checker site as it could be added to a database which would flag the paper when I am turning it in.
