Lithuania’s move to cut-off Russia’s transit routes, mainly rail, to Kaliningrad is a move pushed on Lithuania by the US, EU, and NATO in order to draw and provoke Russia into a conflict. After all, Lithuania is a NATO member; Ukraine is not. Furthermore, this commentator argues, the US will lose the land war with Russia and, in the process, will escalate the conflict to eventually even use nuclear weapons against Russia in a first strike
What is your take on this? It surely is a peculiar time for Lithuania to cut-off Russian rail to Kaliningrad, isn’t it? Thus, was this move forced by the US, the EU, and NATO as a means to provoke a conflict with Russia? If direct conflict between American soldiers and Russian soldiers does ensue because of this situation, will this lead to nuclear war?
