With the aid of examples, compare intermodal transport with unimodal transport regarding environmental impact.

Question 2
The global freight forwarding sector consists of many large multinational forwarding companies such as DHL, Kuehne+Nagel and DB Schenker. Is there a role for smaller, local forwarders in global freight forwarding? Discuss.

Question 3
Discuss the following statement:

With respect to multimodal transport, technological progress and electronic means of communication have moved far ahead of the legal regimes.
