For this part of the project, you will be working individually to prepare a final written report of your group’s case study and your contributions to it. Personal reflections are to be a minimum of 500 words (no maxi- mum), typed, double-spaced, and submitted on the last day of class (April 22). These essays do not require a thesis, and you will be graded on how well you demonstrate personal reflection on the project and on your development throughout the semester. Your reflection should cover two parts:
Part 1: Discuss your personal learning process as your project developed throughout the semes- ter. How did your thinking evolve and change? How did the project contribute to your understanding of the course readings, lectures, and discussions (use concrete examples from our readings, lectures, and discussions)? In describing your learning, reference your individual contributions to the group project. Finally, how would you evaluate the contributions of your fellow group members in comparison to your own? How well did you and your colleagues work together?
Part 2: Having made the final presentation and having viewed the presentations of the other groups, what additional aspects of your business case study would you (re)consider if you had the chance to continue working on your project? In other words, what else might you want to know about your cho- sen business if you were either an investor, a potential employee, or a government advisor? Finally, how useful and informative were the other group projects to your learning about business in the Middle East? How might your learning be better improved through these group projects?
