Write a 1000 word or less essay about the myths of Prometheus (Topic 2 in attached file). I am discussing that I believe that the interpretation connecting the myth of Prometheus and Zeus to the eruption of Mt Elbrus. Discuss evidence connecting the Greek account with similar myths in other cultures including how and why the individual myths that belong to this family are related. Do include discussion of the nature of myths and oral traditions and how they preserve or distort information about real events or phenomena.
Evaluation is based on strength of arguments made in support of this position. External sources are not required but encouraged (I would like to at least have 1). If sources are used they must be properly cited in essay and in bibliography appended at the end of the essay (does not count toward word limit). Figures/illustrations are encouraged if they support the thesis, must be properly cited as well. Absolutley NO AI
