Final Paper (1000 words)
The paper should engage conceptually with class material. I’ll discuss your topic and approach in office hours. All essays are 12-point type, double-space, Times New Roman, one-inch margins on all sides. All essays must be titled. Your name, date and course number should be typed on the first page in the upper-left corner. I expect you to draw from the films, readings, music and discussion in the course. If you wish, you may use additional material, but your grade will be based upon your grasp of the concepts presented in assigned readings and class lectures.
Electronic submission: google docs or word document. The title page, the references or the bibliography are not to be included in the required page numbers. Be sure to include bibliography and references in your essay.

Answer Following Question: 
No one ever wishes to be identified as racist. Yet, racism and sexism that comes with it prevails in different forms and structures within our society often expressed as history, tradition, culture or politics. Examine the historical causes of racism and link it to the theme of racialist capitalism, masking and objectification of the other as we discussed in class. Include in your response, the dangers of objectification.
