To complete this assignment, you will need to do the following:
Vulnerability Assessment: For this assignment, assess the weaknesses of your personal residence to a hurricane. List the vulnerabilities that you have found, then, considering cost and importance, list reasonable measures (Not covering windows with concrete blocks) that could be used to “Harden” your residence against a hurricane. You will be graded on content, reasonableness, and originality. Again, if you use any sources (example-if you list prices for material) you must cite those sources. Only those papers that are original, interesting, and are well researched will receive full credit (and maybe a few more). Bonus: you will receive extra points, depending on how well thought out, for answering the following: “how can I better prepare myself (and your family if applicable) at the start of hurricane season?”
