Your thoughts on Physical Education Now in this assignment I would like you to consider your perceptions about the field of Physical Education. The field you have chosen to study, whether it is teaching or coaching , athletic training, or exercise physiology, you have decided this is the profession you would like to pursue. Why? What do you know about this profession and it’s professionals. What do you think a typical work day is like? What drew you to think that this is something you would enjoy. What excites you about your thoughts and interests in physical activity, and what is your greatest worry or concern about physical education as your potential career. As you begin to answer these questions, please don’t be thinking everyone else in class is absolutely sure about this as their future occupation and I’m thinking this is what I want but I’m not 100% sure. 80% of the class is feeling just as uncertain as you are. This assignment is designed to get you thinking about your choice , and to begin to open a discussion about the profession, your current perceptions and eventually lead to a more complete understanding of the career you hope to pursue.

Im interested in a career as a sports medicine physician but also interested in training athletes and fighters. I like american football, mma, boxing, and the olympics. I was checking out the univ of fl and they have some pretty cool programs such as the doctor of athletic training and the phd programs. Applied physiology and kinesiolgy program interests me.
