Consider the following: Advances in GPS technology, the proliferation of smart phones with embedded GPS, and the increasing popularity of social networking media, such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, have all made cyberstalking easier than ever. To protect yourself and your loved ones from this particularly dangerous form of cybercrime, it’s important to learn as much as you can about these technologies. With this scenario in mind, answer the following questions. (Parts A, B, and C) and format the assignment in APA style as an academic essay.
Part A
How do these technological advances enable cyberstalkers to capture and use personal information about potential victims? Provide at least three scholarly resources to support your answer.
Part B
In what ways are you and/or your loved ones using such technologies that could make you vulnerable to cyberattack? Provide at least two scholarly resources to support your answer.
Part C
What changes could you make in your own and/or your loved ones’ use of these technologies to enhance your and your loved ones’ safety from cyberstalking? Provide at least three scholarly resources to support your answer.
