Please evaluate and define the institutional principles of these two nations (Russia and China) as they developed their political systems. Through your own critical and comprehensive analysis you can make a comparison and detect the similarities and differences that these two nations have in their political and governmental institutions and how they were able to hold on to their political governmental systems. Consider the spread of Communism under USSR and the how different is from China’s Communist ideology; why? Consider the first transition of USSR Communism Regime as a Democratic Socialism of Russia during Yeltsin and early years of Putin. Consider nations such as Finland, Brazil, Venezuela who have adopted Socialism and even integrated Socialist democratic policies are there any similarities of difference or even hopes for China’s transformation from Communism to Socialism?
