I plan to design a social mapping project involving urban green areas and their ease of access in a citywide condition. For me, the subject matter is this one and this is the reason because I am really keen to know answers to many questions relating to this connection between urban areas and public health. With this project, we will find out what share of parks, gardens, and other green areas city dwellers have by assessing the effects of population density, earnings and transportation upon this distribution. I will try to map the spatial distribution of urban green spaces which will help me identify places deprived of greenery and suggesting possibilities for advancing the whole process of social equity while improving the availability of green spaces in urban contexts.
