All scholars must produce a 5-7 page comparative essay to close out our quarter. Your essay must produce a comparative analysis dealing with any subjects we have covered throughout the quarter. Your essay must establish a clear thesis, produce your analysis of the thesis or main points of the text, and engage in a comparative analysis of the material.  It might be helpful to refer back to your critical reviews and think about the reading you found most interesting, and look at the comparative analysis you produced. You will be graded on how well you work through your comparative analysis. The task is to work critically and rigorously to establish your comparative analysis.  You must choose a citation style: APA, MLA, Chicago, etc and stick with it the entire essay. I recommend using course readings as primary source material but you are welcome to engage outside sources. 
Comparative Statement: This essay will produce a comparative analysis of the Hillard Teaching of Ptahhotep and how it directly applies to Reynaldo Andersons ideals created within his work, Afrofuturism 2.0 The Rise of Astro-Blackness.
