Part I: 
Students must create a visual glossary of key terminology related to themselves and their culture in philosophy, architecture, music, religion, and art. For example, the glossary should include (but not be limited to) images of their favorite food (including instructions on how to make it if needed), lists of their favorite songs, their god(s), holidays, traditions, and how their culture defines them. You are not required to write intensive paragraphs but do not assume we know what the images or ‘things’ are. Pretend we are aliens who you need to be educated. 
Part II: 
Discuss the importance of YOUR culture in modern-day multiculturalism. Why does Instragam impact culture so much? This should include references to the lecture sections when talking about culture.

Initial post (3)
Part I should have a visual presentation containing photos with descriptions. 
All terminology should include pictures and media to complement paragraphs visually. 
All parts should pertain to the student’s life and culture only. 
Part II should reference the lecture only and their own life. No outside sources are needed or invited.

Each response should be between 100 and 200 words at maximum. 
Attach your visual portfolio. If you created a document with images, please ensure it is in PDF form (which opens in the Canvas browser). If you created an online slide show (Google Slides, Canva, etc.), link us to the presentation, and if you created a PowerPoint presentation, be sure it is a PDF. Do not require students to download files to their computers to open them.
