I wrote this about the constituive relationship between law and society, ” The constitutive
relationship between law and society means that they are equally shaping forces, each
affected by the other. Law reflects societal norms and values but at the same time also
sets them”. You may use that if you like to help. For this fieldwork essay I observed a courtrooom, You can say that in the essay or whatever you think is easy to explain. I would say one observation would be how people dress professionally even though there is no written rule that you must wear a suit in court even defendants and those who cannot afford suits will try their best to look presentable in court. This is an example of how law and society are constituive.

o Analysis of what you observed during your field work that illustrates how law and society have a constitutive relationship, using the explanation you just provided.
