It is time to use what you have learned about thesis statements and topic sentences. 
Begin by choosing a topic: a favorite place, a hated food, a musical group or theatre performance, a best friend, a bully from high school, a profession, something you just learned, a great idea. Whatever you choose, be ready to write a whole essay on it. If you like the topic you chose for the Week 2 Discussion on prewriting strategies, you can use it for this assignment.
