This project requires to research a city or community that performs in a way that is characterized as unsustainable. Throughout the world there are many areas that have issues making them unsustainable for the people or for the environment. 
In this project you are required to present a city/community that is acting unsustainably.
Describe the area you have selected (geographically, surroundings, population, industrial activity, agriculture, fishery, pollution, etc).
What are the factors that make it unsustainable?
Why is it necessary to shift the current status of the area?
What is the role of the local authorities so far?
Identify specific problems that must be solved.
For each of the problems identified, provide a detailed plan with solutions.
What local authorities should do to support the creation of a sustainable community?
What is the role of people to that process?
Based on your paper and the solutions you have suggested, which of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals are met? (https://sdgs.un.org/goals)
Make sure you use the textbook for the proposal of solutions, along with other credible sources you find.
Important: You may choose any city/community you want (preferably one you have lived in) except of the following: Lagos, Nigeria and Mexico City, Mexico.
Writing Guidelines
Follow the 7th APA format style.
Fonts: Times New Roman, Size 12, double-spaced.
Length: 2000 – 3000 words, including the bibliography.
No abstract or table of contents are needed.
A cover page is needed including the title of the project and your name.
Introduction, main body and conclusion are the basic sections of the paper.
The main body should include subsections based on the questions you answer.
In-text citations and references are mandatory.
Make sure you paraphrase the information you use, and cite accordingly.
Plagiarism is not allowed and will be penalized according to the University’s policy.
