Write a five-to-six page essay that presents your assessment of the human condition and the contemporary state of global affairs. Draw on the material offered in the Worldview Unit as well as any other sources of your choosing.
I just want to know what you think about the world today and its likely future.  Frame the essay around a grade. Grade the world on a five-point scale where zero (0) is terrible and five (5) is great. Use the essay to justify, discuss, and explain your decision.
It’s a big topic, and you only have a few pages. It will be fine to focus primarily on one or two issues that concern you the most. Feel free to bring in material and examples from outside the unit’s offerings.
I will not grade on your scoring or intent. I will grade you on how well you present your case. I will read your essays for comprehensiveness, thoroughness, and presentation.
