Instructions:You will write a 3,000- 4,000 words (12-16 pages) research paper examining a topic of your
choice. Possible topics can span the discipline of political science, including American politics,
International Relations, Comparative Politics, Public Policy, or Legal Studies.
This paper will require a significant amount of outside research. Detailed paper guidelines will
be available in a separate handout on Canvas. In preparation for the final draft of your paper, you
will submit a paper proposal, have a one-on-one consultation with me, participate in a peer
review, and receive live feedback following your paper presentation. You will also have the
option to submit a draft of the paper to the instructor for feedback
