Below, I present literature regarding constitutional sheriffs, the sociopolitical situation at the U.S. Southwest Border, and recent trends in discriminatory practices by law enforcement agencies. Furthermore, I present the methods used to investigate how sheriffs construct issues related to immigration. I end with a discussion on the various policy implications of the work, specifically to how discriminatory and simplified rhetoric can lead to the adaptation of, and mainstreaming of exclusionary speech among the public.”

Describe what you learned in the process, perhaps evaluate which research your reviewed that is helpful and which less so (1/2-1 page).
Describe some limitations in your study. What did you NOT consider in your work but could be important to consider later? For example, if your topic is the aftermath of terrorism – ask yourself whether there are more factors at play than what you were able to discuss and present in your paper. Discuss some of those factors in your discussion (1/2-1 page).
