Congratulations! You have made to the last assignment for the course! I am proud of you!
Grades: All students must submit the research paper and the final in order to pass the course. Grades will be posted by Tuesday of the following week.
Directions for Final:
Please read or review the two reading selections for this final. I have chosen reading selections that most people were able to connect to. Please review your annotations or make new annotations in reference to the prompt question.
Requirements for your Final essay:
I need you to compose an introductory paragraph with 8 sentences using the same format as the last 3 essays. Make sure you answer the prompt in the last sentence of this paragraph. In addition, I will pay close attention to the main points you identify and the content you share for the two-sentence summary of the reading selection. Please refer to your notes. I will not be able to answer questions for the final.
I would like for you to compose four body paragraphs using the same format that you have used for the last three essays: Transition, Topic Sentence, explain the topic sentence, support, connect direct quotation to topic sentence, transition/4-5 sentence analysis. Make sure you use the transitions that I have made available to you in Canvas. Each topic sentence should be one point you are making about your thesis statement, which is an answer to the prompt question.
The last paragraph should have 3 sentences. According to the notes, you should restate your thesis statement using different words. Follow your notes for sentence # 2, and the last sentence should be a warning to about the topic.
No works-cited page is required; thus you should not include one. However, if you provide one, it will be graded comprehensively with your submission according to MLA format.
Prompt: Although online pedagogy is pervasive in many colleges and universities, what roles do study habits acquired from a traditional education play on student success and what are the necessary study habits needed for students to succeed in an online class?
