You are required to do a detailed surveillance report on the leisure and recreation activities available to older adults in your area.  The report should be comprehensive i.e. you must research your area thoroughly (New Orleans, Louisiana). The report needs to have photographic evidence of facilities, detailed reports on offerings and programming at all locations, and you must make contact with the facilities and discuss the number of community members that take advantage of the programs and any barriers that exist that prevent expanded offerings or having greater attendance.  Think about things like accessibility, transportation, costs, etc. The total report, including photographic evidence, reports on interviews and synopsis must be 5-6 pages in length, APA format.     
In order to pass you must have:
At least one interview conducted with a live person (10 pts), and summarized
Photographs of 3 facilities in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Have found at least 3 community facilities to report activities on (15 pts each). – if you need to expand from local to regional or state that is fine. 
Additionally, you will earn 10 pts for APA format, 5 pts for clearly organized. (15pts total)
