You have not provided your thesis statement, so I can’t see to what extent the paragraph relates to your stance. Remember however, that the focus of the essay should be on the implementation of a multilingual language policy resulting it the possible emergence of English favouritism / monolingualism. That is not mentioned here.

multicultural societies, the implementation of a multilingual language policy that
