Students will be required to submit a typed 7-8 page paper the last week of the term in which the student’s Field Experience is completed. The paper will address the following issues related to the field experience site:
What have you learned in your course work about the purpose and functions of this type of site? Textbooks and other materials should be cited.
What had been your expectations about this site prior to beginning your Field Experience? You entered the Field Experience with preconceived ideas about the purpose and functions of this type of site developed from your reading, listening to the media, educators, personnel working in this field and your own experiences. Did you find these notions to be accurate or did you alter them?
What did you observe during your Field Experience? Discuss the functions you observed the site staff performing.
What were the site staff’s views about the site’s purpose?
