Early Childhood Development: Detail the two to five of EACH of the most important physical, biosocial, and cognitive developments that happen during the years between 2 and 6. INCLUDE ONE ASPECT OF ATYPICAL DEVELOPMENT
For each age group you might start thinking about something like this, “The first two years is an exciting time in a person’s development. During this time of Early Childhood ……” and tell us about SIX or more things that happen during this time that are very important. (Understand there are a lot more than 2-5 very important things that happen physically but weight development (how much should they typically weigh), height development (how tall or how many inches should they grow each year), etc needs to be included. This should be a narrative that would be of interest to a parent whose child is about to reach this stage.  YOU MUST INCLUDE ONE ASPECT OF ATYPICAL DEVELOPMENT, for example a child fails to have the “language explosion” around the age of 18 months OR if a person’s near vision does NOT decline in the 40s and 50s and remains clear into the 60s.
