Scenario
It is 8:00 Monday morning and Joan Jackson, the CEO of Venus Widgets, sends you a text message about the organization’s involvement in the community. She would like to commit to giving back to the people and environment that make up Venus Widgets’ workforce and customer base. She needs your help as the Director of HR to create a corporate social responsibility (CSR) plan. The final plan should demonstrate that you have researched and analyzed CSR in your industry and its impact on people, profit, and planet. 
Include the following in your plan for Joan:
Describe why a CSR program is important for the organization to implement.
Discuss the impact that CSR will have on the community. Will implementing a CSR program be in the best interest of the company, community, and environment? Why or why not?
