You are to make a presentation about Ja’Tovia Gary. Each student is responsible for leading one 20m class discussion on one of the major figures that we covered in this class. In addition, you are expected to share a bibliography that supplements your in-class presentation (make a powerpoint.) The bibliography should include (6-8) sources that your fellow students should be familiar with to understand better how or what influenced your artist, with what texts she is in conversation, and how she has impacted music and global culture. You should upload the presentation and bibliography on our Canvas site and distribute it to your fellow students. By the end of the seminar, all students will have a collection of resources created by their peers that will be quite helpful for their research papers.
