Develop a proposal for a project in your community. See the document in this module titled CCB Proposal Writing Guide* for information and examples. The project can be something you might do as a member of a group you are in now or as a member of a group you “make up.” It is fine if you need to make up facts or people to support your proposal. The proposal must be typed, presented well, and look professionally written (you don’t have to follow the exact instructions on formatting that the guide provides). Follow the below outline for your proposal, with each component being 1 page (so a total of 10 pages). You don’t need footnotes or appendices or the other sections mentioned in the Guide that I don’t list here. Save your final proposal as a PDF for submission for this assignment. Put in the effort to make it attractive with colors, bullets, etc. Remember that you are trying to convince someone to give your organization support.
1. Title Page (project title and location, name of organization sponsoring project, date(s) of project, your name)
2. Table of Contents
3. Executive Summary (write this last using tips throughout the Guide; include summary of problem, solution, economic benefit, environmental benefits, community support)
4. Project Description
5. Project Schedule
6. Background; Goals and Objectives
7. Project Management
8. Project Budget (put your budget in a table)
9. Visual Aid (this can come wherever it best fits in the proposal and can be a photo, chart, diagram, etc.)
10. References (websites about your community, project type, etc.)
