Read through the organization’s website and conduct all other outside research you feel is necessary to accurately represent your organization.
Identify the most important information about your organization, find or create representative images and graphics, and compile these images and information into an aesthetically appealing page that gives a snapshot of the organization. An infographic is a visual image that is used to represent information. It makes a lot of information easily digestible and is designed to help viewers identify patterns and trends. You may construct this graphic however you choose–using computer graphics and photos to put together a PDF, drawing by hand and uploading a photo, using a program like Canva to design a graphic (this is what most students prefer), etc. Please be creative and have some fun with it.
For this assignment, a successful infographic will highlight the goals, structures, members, and activities of the organization in a single page. It will use more pictures than words and highlight what a general audience would need to know about the organization. This is an opportunity to demonstrate what you think is most important about your chosen organization. Points will be awarded based on the quality of information and visual appeal.
