Presentations should include, at minimum: (from instructor)
o A clearly and well-defined target population 
o A clearly and well-defined public health issue (any public health issue)
o Discussion of the epidemiology of the issue and key epidemiological metrics 
o Appropriate background information of the issue 
o A creative approach to educating your classmates on your public health issue by
taking a population-health perspective 
o Appropriate citations 
Remember the purpose of this assignment is to educate your classmates on the public health
topic of your choosing. You are responsible for applying public health content from the class
lectures and assigned discussions to your presentation. Individual presentations are worth 50 points. You will do a 5–6-
minute presentation on a health education topic of your choice. The main purpose of the
presentation is to educate the class in some health area. Students will provide presentation
learning objectives to the class and instructor. (I will attach all in class powerpoints for if you need them but these are the only nstrcutions we have been given so I am not sure what else you will need. Please let me know if you have any questions and we can work through it together.)
