Analysis in research papers means to break a topic or concept down into its parts, in order to inspect and understand it, and to restructure those parts in a way that makes sense. In an analytical research paper, you do research to become an expert on a topic so that you can restructure and present the parts of the topic from your own perspective.
Write in MLA format, Times New Roman, and size 12 font (other formats, such as APA, are fine)
Include a Works Cited Page (3 scholarly sources required, but other types of sources permitted)
Paragraphs should be 5-7 sentences each, not including quoted material. 
Use direct quotes from material with page numbers so I can verify quotes. Quoted material must be fewer than 4 lines on your paper.
