For this assignment you will identify an older family member (60+ years old) with whom you can interact throughout the semester. You will be required to engage in 3 separateconversations with your selected family member in an effort to deepen your learning of the various aspects of adult development that we will be covering over the course of the semester. We will be covering between 12 and 15 broad topics and you will be required to select at least three topics to thoroughly cover in your case study. That means you must have three in-depth conversations with your family member, which you will document clearly in your paper (date, time, general location of interview such as “in my grandmother’s home” or “over the phone”, etc.) It will be important to have read the chapter and to have a solid understanding of the material prior to your interview/discussion. 
You will create a semi-structured interview protocol for each discussion and you will turn each of these in with your final paper (the appendices). You DO NOT need to transcribe the interview word-for-word. The appendices is simply the questions that you ask the interviewee.
Paper must be at least 8-10 pages (this does not include the three appendices). 
The paper must be written according to the APA Publication Manual, 6th ed.
The rough draft should include the following: introduction, 2 out of the 3 topics complete for the body, references, and the appendices.
