Watch the The Meatrix short videos (there is the original Meatrix along with a couple sequels). This an online Flash animation that takes an entertaining (and critical) look at meat production and the changes to farming practices in the late 20th century. Please watch the animations and take notes. Then critique the presentation, specifically addressing (but not limited to) the following questions:
-What are the aims of the presentation?
-How is it trying to influence the viewer? Is it effective in this? Why or why not?
-Do you believe there is a middle-ground in this debate (please utilize outside sources)?
Please explain/support your ideas with examples and outside sources when necessary (you can just list or hyperlink these). Also, remember that a critique assesses both good and bad elements, thus your response should not be a position statement for or against the presentation.
