the case study and advising the party involved in the case study, i.e. a spouse or
you are a judge where you must render a decision to the parties to a case
RAIC method: Determine the question(s), determine the rule(s), apply
the facts of the case study and conclude
The maximum number of words for your answers is 3000
The 10% rule applies and references are not included in the word count
There is no need for a bibliography, but I must be able to identify the source of the
material you mentioned

The exam will be posted on April 11 at 10am and must be submitted by April 12 at 10am sharp. I
will not accept submissions sent by email or reopen the link.
I mentioned that I would send you three cases of divorce or judicial separation so that
you can see how judges apply the law to a particular set of facts. It
two decisions of the High Court and one Court of Appeal where the case of the Court
is regularly cited in other decisions. Any of the manuals
will also discuss the judicial approach.
You will not need to explain the facts of the fictional case study at the beginning, but you
you refer to the facts to the extent that they relate to a particular factor.
