A movement analysis on a over-head throw has to be written. Instructions are listed below. There is also a checklist attached.
You will be required to write a movement analysis paper. The paper will include: what is the movement/skill, assessments of each phase of the movement, major joints involved during each phase of the movement, agonist and synergist muscles that play a role in the movement, the eccentric and concentric muscle actions in each phase of the movement for all muscles involved, muscle and joint actions through each phase of the movement, joint articulations/structures, and planes of movement, and axis of movement. These should be discussed for each phase of the movement.
Your project will be 5-6 content pages in 12 pt font, Times New Roman, double spaced in a Word Document format with 1” margins and will NOT be in an outline format. Please feel free to use 1-2 pictures and a graph for the anatomy chart. However, they do not count towards the overall content page requirement.
You need at least 5 peer reviewed sources (textbooks or peer reviewed research), APA format (title page, in text citations and reference page).
Failure to follow format results in automatic 10% reduction in grade on assignment….half the page requirement = half the credit.
