1. Prompt One:  You are observing a novice tennis player being coached by his instructor on how to serve a tennis ball. The coach repeatedly tells the learner to “relax your muscles.”  Using Bernstein’s stages of degrees of freedom (in your textbook) or Fit’s and Posner’s Stages of learning, justify why this may not be the best advice. 2. Prompt Two – In your chapter on Developmental Motor Learning several differences were mentioned in why not all motor learning research can be applied to young children. Your task is to identify and explain three differences in children in why traditional motor learning research results may not apply to young children. (Minimum 250 words)
