You should produce a report on the history of a chemical or class of chemicals used in cosmetics, personal cleansing, grooming or hygiene products

The report should be written in an academic style and may feature annotated images/figures. It should be ~1500 words in length. (See final line of rubric for more details on the word limit.)
A rubric follows below but essential features of your report are:

References for any images, websites or papers used. References can be formatted using any established referencing style but should use the one style consistently throughout. They should be compiled in a list at the end of your report. The reference list is not included in the overall word count.
