Gonjezani Union Board at Chung Wang Industrial Company, negotiated new salaries and other conditions of service with the representatives of the Chung Wang Company and this was put into a Collective Agreement. The said agreement was signed by the parties on 20th march 2024. In this agreement salaries and salary related items were backdated to 1st February 2024.This agreement was sent to the Labour Commissioner as required under the Industrial and Labour Relations Act to be registered. The Minister of Labour and Social Security declined to order the registration of the agreement.
