To help students examine the hunger issue in the United States, students are required to read the book Growing Up Empty (Schwartz-Nobel, 2002) and write a minimum 5-page reflection paper in response to this book and the guiding questions listed below. (Please respond to the guiding questions below and NOT to the page requirement!)
When writing your paper, be sure to provide an introductory paragraph in which you introduce the main themes of your paper. In essence, you want to guide your reader through the paper. Each of the guiding questions below should have at least one paragraph devoted to responding to each guiding question. At the conclusion of your paper, be sure to also provide a concluding paragraph that summarizes the main themes of your paper. You want to give your reader a final reminder of those themes.
