2 different essays each one about a page and a half
Grading is based upon clarity and consistency of your thesis and argument; accuracy; comprehension of course concepts; clear application of course materials; and analysis rather than description. 
Treat these as two separate essays. EACH should be at least one but no more than two pages.
Questions: ANSWER BOTH
Imagine that you work for the US government (or any government of your choice) and are tasked with evaluating the likelihood of national security threats. These threats include conventional war, nuclear threats, asymmetrical and civil wars, and terrorism. Using course materials, explain when and why these uses of force are likely to occur. In addition, add your own assessment of which ones are likely to occur in the next five years.
Now, imagine you work for an international organization, such as the United Nations. Using course materials, how do you assess the current state “global governance” and the nature of international or global change over the next five to 10 years? As above, use course materials for your answer.
