1. PowerPoint- Please remember that the goal of your project is to prepare an approximately
one hour presentation to a parent group. If you remember this goal, it may help you with
the organization and planning of your presentation.
While you will not actually give the presentation to a parent group, if you pretend like
you will do this, then it will help you plan the presentation. Remember to pretend that
you have approximately 60 minutes for your presentation and you need to have
approximately 40 – 50 Power Point slides. You must submit your project in the
assignment portal AND post your presentation in the Project Fair discussion board under
Class Discussions.
References are required: You must have a variety of credible and
academic/scientific references that are used throughout the project to a
substantial degree. Do not overly rely on our textbook as a
citation/reference. Additionally, citations for these references must be included in
your PPT project, and they must be in APA format. You can choose to include full
reference citations on each slide as they occur, or you can choose to provide
intext citations on each slide with a reference slide at the end of the presentation.
Either is fine as long as references are in APA format, give clear credit to
information, and are appropriate references. An example of how to do this efficient
and succinct way for PPT presentations will be posted in the course.
