1. In the first part, research a sport tourism event that takes place within the US. Provide details of the event and examine the impacts of the event on the environment, and city in which it takes place. 
What are the greater implications of hosting the event in the US? Does the event have an impact beyond the local geography? How does the event impact society?
2. Secondly, compare and contrast the answer in the first question with an event that occurs outside of the US. How are the events similar, or different? Is the impact greater or lesser
in terms of societal impact? Events like the World Cup, obviously have a longer reach than national events. Try to find an event that you might not know as much about when
comparing. This is an Olympic year and an Olympic event is a great one to analyze.
