1.First choose a contemporary social problem that is of your interest (ex. police brutality, school funding, global warming, immigration etc) .
2. Once you have determined what your topic you will then have to find three articles about the topic you have chosen. (These articles must be scholar articles and peer reviewed)
Once you have determined your social problem make sure that each of the three article is touching on a different angles of the social problem 
For example if you decide to choose Education as a Social problem make sure one article talks about school funding, another can talk about discrimination, and 3rd can talk about school violence. 
Objective of midterm is to develop a critical understanding of the social problem
3. You must provide a mini literature review for each article you have chosen (look at midterm outline).  
4. You must create a final summary of the connection between your articles
