2. Chapter six in Constitutional Conflicts addresses the idea of “executive privilege,” as does the reading “Obama’s Executive Privilege and Holder’s Contempt.” Define and examine this concept. What is its history and how have presidents used it over time? In what ways can Congress challenge assertions of executive privilege? Do you support a president’s right to this power? Why or why not?
